Wed. Morning a small but determined group of local north shore Peace Activists gather at Waimea Beach Park to ride together to Haleiwa in protest of the Iraq War.

Local Kahuku middle-school student Gabby Henrie shared how she felt it was important to show her solidarity by skipping school to join in with the Nov. 2nd protest and sharing how
"War is not Good for Children and other Living Things".
Although Gabby is only 11 years old, she is currently working on a history project at school that examines Conscientious Objectors during the Vietnam War. She is seeing parallels with the current situation of our government sending children just a few years older than herself to an illegal war that was based on telling lies to the American Public.
